Who I Am

I’ve been in tech for over 30 years. I’ve worked in 27 countries, built networks for governments, coded with engineers on remote islands, and managed infrastructure that couldn’t afford to fail.

I’ve also walked away from all of that.

Not because I had to. But because I needed to find something real again.

Now I live in regional Australia, building open-source software, running sustainable tech companies, and helping people with disabilities build skills and confidence through digital work.

I DJ under the name DJ Apparition—mixing 1920s swing into modern dance music—and I run charities, design education systems, and throw steampunk festivals in my spare time.

This isn’t a job for me. It’s my life’s work. And I want to do it with other people who feel the same.

A nonprofit teaching SEO, digital marketing, and web design to people with disabilities—many of whom now manage real client websites and earn their own income.

 

Crystal Eye EDU

A hardened cybersecurity system for schools, powered by Red Piranha, now sold exclusively through our EDU partner program.

 

Steampunk@Altitude + Steampunk New England

Two regional festivals that bring people together around creativity, science, and community—with branding, logistics, ticketing, press kits, and sponsor pitches all done in-house.

 

DJ Apparition

 

My personal art project—taking forgotten music from a hundred years ago and turning it into live, modern, bass-driven sets for festivals and warehouse events.

And countless more sites, systems, and stories along the way—from SEO campaigns that tripled small business leads, to live radio shows, to open-source accessibility software for students with cerebral palsy.

I don’t outsource. I don’t inflate prices. I just build things that work.
